by Lauren  on Mar 17 2010

We’re excited by the response we’ve received to our new iPhone app, and to the upgrades and many new features of our web app. See what folks are saying about what’s new in Springpad:

Gizmodo Springpad Turns Your iPhone into a Scrapbook for Everything
“Are you one of those people who collects stuff? Not material items, but little tiny scraps of information, be they photos, places, products, text snippets, ideas, or plans? Then maybe, maybe, you should try Springpad.”

ReadWriteWeb Springad Takes on Evernote with Semantic Technology, Barcode Scanner
“What’s different about this tool is the way it uses semantic technology to understand what it is that you’re saving and offer relevant links to other information when you view it again in Springpad.”

WebWorkerDaily Springpad Evolves: Capture Information from Anywhere
“All of these new features make it much easier for me to capture what I’m thinking, what I’m seeing, and what I’m finding and then put it in a place where I can easily process it, use it and store it. Not only does the capture process clear my mind from trying to remember the minutiae, but when I do need to use some information I can do so quickly and efficiently.”

by Lauren  on Mar 15 2010

You’ve heard it said before, but Austin, Texas is indeed the live music capital of the U.S. With its thick concentration of storied music venues and year-round calendar of acclaimed events like Austin City Limits and of course South By Southwest, even those who have never set foot in Austin concede its royal status in the music community. But tunes are hardly the only draw in the state capitol; its food hubs are as serious about their menus as its music clubs are about their gig calendars. If you’re lucky enough to make the trip for SXSW, you have the opportunity to experience the best of both worlds. Below are a few go-to Texas-born dishes you’ll want to hunt down between sets in Austin.
