Because Thanksgiving’s on Thursday I’m trying recipes the rest of the week that have nothing to do with the holidays… until after Thursday, when we’ll be living off of leftovers for ages. I’m excited to try a couple new recipes, and I do love this holiday!

Monday
Indian chicken curry Spring the recipe!

Tuesday
Spiced and sour mushroom soup Spring the recipe!

Wednesday
Caramelized pear and gorgonzola pizza Spring the recipe!

Thursday
Thanksgiving! We’re using some recipes from Springsgiving.
Spring the recipe!

Friday
Using leftovers to make Turkey Shepherd’s Pie Spring the recipe!

And for a special treat
Peanut buttery bars Spring the recipe!

Spring the whole meal plan!

What are you eating this week?

Sausages and peppers…this would be a winner in my house.

Your menu sounds delicious. Happy Thanksgiving!

Have you ever heard of shelf milk? If so, can you use it in a baking recipe?

Hi Rona – I have not heard of shelf milk, but based on what I have read about it, it seems you can use it the same as regular milk. Here a link to a FAQ site about shelf milk that I referenced: http://bordenshelfstablemilk.com/borden/borden_SSMFAQ_01.htm

Happy Thanksgiving to you too! Thanks for reading our blog!
    :) Devin

Thanks! I’m pretty excited for the curry I’m making tonight – it’ll be refreshing before a weekend full of turkey. I’ve never heard of shelf milk either, but it sounds like an interesting ingredient!

  4. [...] hope everyone’s Thanksgiving was great – and delicious – I know mine was! Even though December doesn’t start [...]
